Establishing a meditation practice may seem daunting!
It’s too hard. I can’t meditate. My mind races too much. I can’t sit still for that long.
But meditation is a practice! It is not hard, and you don’t have to quiet your mind to meditate.
The benefits of meditation are many, and studies have shown that even 3 minutes of meditation can have a positive impact on your health and actually slows shrinkage in the brain. A regular practice can reduce stress, improve sleep, encourage mindfulness in your daily life, improve focus and attention, and increase activity in the parasympathetic nervous system — the rest and relax instead of fight or flight.
Join Cindy from 6:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. every Tuesday in September in a meditation practice. We will start right on time, and end right on time. This will provide the basics in establishing a meditation practice that you can continue on your own. We will gradually build up to a practice of ten minutes. Just show up!
